Fields, dunes and water in low sun
Golden Hour
“Yellow and gold only look right for an hour a day. We draw that hour.”
Golden Hour draws warm light: sunflowers lit from behind, ears of wheat against a huge low sun, the sun half risen over calm water, dunes with bright crests and smooth shadow sides.
Shadows stay the color of the light, only deeper, so yellow never turns to mustard and rose gold never turns to brown.
