Tessel
“One shape, repeated until it becomes a surface.”
Tessel tiles the screen: honeycomb hexagons, tumbling-block cubes, chevrons, art deco scallops, rows of arches and argyle diamonds.
Every pattern is drawn to join exactly, with a little paper grain so the flat color has something to hold on to. Two colors at most, or three tones of one.
